Vera Award 2013

The Vera Art Award ceremony was held at the ET CETERA Theater

On July 1, the ET CETERA theater hosted the award ceremony of the art prize “VERA” based on the results of the Seventh Moscow International Festival of Arts “Traditions and Modernity”, which took place from June 26 to 30 in the Central House of Artists. The symbol of the festival “Traditions and Modernity” was the statuette-award “VERA”, made by the honored artist of the Russian Federation sculptor V. Mitroshin, the author of prizes for many Russian and foreign competitions. The award symbolizes the belief in creativity, love and success. The award is a visible embodiment of self-belief for the nominees and an incentive for further creativity.

More than 300 artists from Russia, USA, Austria, Germany, Holland, India, Italy, Spain, China, Portugal, Romania, Japan, Canada, Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Tajikistan and Belarus competed for the award.

This year’s international jury included:
-Chairman of the International Jury, People’s Artist of the USSR, Russia and Azerbaijan, winner of the State Prizes of the USSR, Azerbaijan, Russia, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Arts Salakhov Tair Teymurovich
-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the MOF for Support of Culture and Development of Contemporary Art, Honorary Member of the RAH Leivikov Mark Georgievich;
-UNESCO International Expert Petrescu George;
-Ludmila Marts, Head of the Sculpture Department at the State Tretyakov Gallery;
-Honorable member of the jury, film director, People’s Artist of the USSR, President of the National Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences, honorary member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Deputy Chairman of the jury Naumov Vladimir Naumovich;
-President of the International Academy of Architecture, Moscow Branch, Chief Architect of the Russian Academy of Sciences Yuri Pavlovich Platonov;
-Attashe for Culture of the Embassy of Israel in the Russian Federation Olivitski Yaffa.

SPECIAL AWARDS PRESENTED:

Awarded with the prize in the field of art “VERA”, for the support in holding the Seventh Moscow International Festival of Arts “Traditions and Modernity” official partner of the Festival – the Main Production and Commercial Department for servicing the diplomatic corps at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, head – Pashko Vladimir Ivanovich.
Awarded the prize in the field of art “VERA” in connection with the anniversary, with the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of literature and art in 2012, for the contribution to the development of fine arts, Chairman of the International Jury of the festival “Traditions and Modernity” Salakhov Tair Teymurovich
Awarded the prize in the field of art “VERA”, for support in holding the Seventh Moscow International Festival of Arts “Traditions and Modernity”, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Association of Public Associations “International Confederation of Unions of Artists” – Masut Mahmudovich Fatkulin Fatkulin.
