Vera Award 2012

The VI Moscow International Festival of Arts “Traditions and Modernity” demonstrated a wide palette of painting and decorative and applied arts, revealed current trends in graphics and photography, showed the works of masters of jewelry, sculptors and architects and presented the latest developments of museum specialists.
Following the results of the Festival, on July 10, 2012, the Et Cetera Theater hosted the award ceremony of the international award in the field of art “VERA”. The bronze statuette “VERA”, symbolizing faith in creativity, love and success, was awarded to the winners in 22 nominations. As part of the ceremony, a concert was held, featuring – jazz singer Yuliana Rogacheva and Olga Sinyayeva, Russian and American pianist, composer Valery Grokhovsky, People’s Artist of Russia, director of the orchestra “Academician-Band” Anatoly Kroll, the State Chamber Orchestra of Jazz Music named after Oleg Lundstrem, artistic director and chief conductor, Honored Artist of Russia – Boris Frumkin, author and composer of his songs Inna Subbotina, accordion duet: Alexey Kissin and Matvey Kissin, musical group “INFINI”, vocalist Marie Carne, vocal and choreographic children’s ensemble “Borodino and children’s art school № 3 of Mytishchi. Mytishchi. The ceremony was hosted by People’s Artist of Russia Dmitry Kharatyan and singer, actress and producer Inna Malikova.
