Moscow International Art Week

We invite you to be part of a historic event that is designed not just to showcase contemporary art, but to create a platform for global dialog, bringing together different cultures, traditions and artistic movements.

Art without borders

June 5-8, 2026. Moscow will become a global capital of arts.

#artwithoutborders

Moscow International Art Week (MIW) is more than just a festival. It is the flagship cultural initiative of Art-Space Holding, designed to establish Moscow as one of the world’s leading art centers and become the main cultural hub of Eurasia.

Based on the 20-year experience of the “Moscow Public Foundation for Support of Culture and Development of Contemporary Art”, we are creating an event of unprecedented scale, which will unite the creative energy of artists from more than 60 countries and all regions of Russia, attracting more than 20,000 visitors.

Our mission is to create an open space for intercultural interaction, where art becomes a universal language capable of overcoming geographical, political and social barriers, and to shape a new paradigm of international cooperation in a complex period of global challenges.

Venues: Moscow as a unified art scene

The strategy of Moscow International Art Week 2026 is to transform the entire city into a single exhibition space. The festival will follow the hub-and-spoke model, combining central venues with numerous points of cultural activity throughout the capital.

Central Hub – ART-SPACE IEC (Tverskaya, 9)

The core and headquarters of the festival will be the International Exhibition Complex “ART-SPACE”. This 4-storey space in the heart of Moscow will be the main point of attraction, where key exhibitions, educational events and meetings with artists will take place. It is here that the main thematic directions of the festival will be laid down.

Modern exhibition center

Key partner venues: Manezh and Gostiny Dvor

We partner with the most prestigious exhibition halls in Moscow to organize the largest and most iconic events of Art Week.

CEH Manezh

A state exhibition hall next to the Kremlin, serving as the main venue for major art exhibitions and official forums. The partnership with Manezh provides a powerful image effect, associating our festival with Russia’s cultural heritage at the highest level.

Gostiny Dvor

A historic complex that is a dynamic center for international fairs, congresses and fashion events. Integration into Gostiny Dvor allows us to host a large-scale contemporary art fair, attracting thousands of collectors and connoisseurs.

City as Canvas Program: Parks and Public Spaces

As part of this trend, art will go beyond galleries. Moscow’s iconic public spaces, such as Gorky Park and VDNKh, will become platforms for public art installations, performances and digital projections, making art accessible to all residents and guests of the capital.

Two peaks of recognition: VERA and ARTI Awards

The centerpiece of Arts Week is the gala ceremony for two prestigious awards.

VERA Award: A Legacy of Excellence

A historic and prestigious award of the Moscow International Art Week, celebrating the pinnacle of achievement in various artistic disciplines. The award, embodied in the elegant bronze statuette “Vera”, is a symbol of excellence and innovative spirit.

The winners are selected by an international jury in such categories as “Painting: For the Preservation of Traditions” and “Digital Art: For the Best Immersive Exhibition”.

ARTI Prize: The Future of Creative Recognition

An innovative prize culminating in the awarding of the ARTI Grand Prix to the artist of the year during Art Week. The prize is symbolized by a collectible ARTI statuette – an artist in the image of an astronaut, embodying the philosophy of “artist as explorer”.

Winners of both awards receive a powerful career boost: their work is presented in a special exhibition and exclusive auction, creating a direct bridge to commercial success.
