On November 14, 2023, a delegation of Burkina Faso, consisting of eleven people, visited the office of the Moscow Public Foundation, the organizer of the 13th Festival “Traditions and Modernity”. The meeting focused on strengthening the friendship between Russia and the countries of the African continent in the field of culture and tourism, and the need to establish closer contacts between our countries, including the film industry and exhibition activities. Burkina Faso has a great cultural heritage and traditions, which it intends to highlight at the upcoming 13th International Festival of Tradition and Modernity. There are still a small number of professional participants in the art market in the country, but this area of economic activity is actively developing. The parties have a mutual interest in being introduced to each other and the Arts Festival, which will be held in Moscow in June 2024, is a great place to realize these goals.

The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Burkina Faso, Mr. Jean Emmanuel Ouedraogo, has agreed to be a member of the international jury of the Festival.
