As part of the preparations for the prestigious 13th International Festival of Arts “Traditions and Modernity”, the leadership of the Moscow Public Foundation for the Support of Culture and the Development of Contemporary Art received an invitation to visit the Embassy of the Republic of Burundi in the Russian Federation. This meeting was held at the initiative of Mr. Joseph Nkurunziza, Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi to Russia.

During this important visit, the parties discussed the participation of Burundian representatives in the upcoming Festival, and also invited the Ministry of Culture of this country, private galleries, artists and craftsmen of the national drums Getega to cooperate. It is important to note that this event represents a significant step in the development of cultural dialogue and art exchange between Russia and Burundi.

In modern Russia, there is an active fascination with the culture of African countries, art objects produced in these countries impress with their unique technique, brightness of colors and use of natural materials.

The meeting was held in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. The parties thanked each other for their intention and willingness to cooperate in the field of art and culture.
